Lisa, I have contacted some recruiters, some colleagues, and I have been putting out feelers for both full time and contract work. Right now things are pretty scary, but I do have some time, so I am being optimistic about things. It's not the same as things were back in 2000-2001 when this happened to me and many others last time. Thank you guys for you support.
